‘My Dream Job in…’

An opera singer in Salzburg? An engineer in Munich? A chef in Paris? A football player in Madrid? Whatever the dream, it’s always useful to have a language to take you there! For our 2017 Compeition, we invited pupils, with the help of their language teacher and guidance counsellor, to apply for their dream job in the country where the language they are learning is spoken.  Pupils were asked to put together a cover letter and Europass CV in a language they are learning. Teachers had to select one entry per class to submit, and two winning classes (one each from Junior and Senior cycle) would get the chance of a trip to a European country to explore the dream career path
