I 2006 uddybede Byars-Winston og Fouad modellen (Byars-Winston &amp; Fouad, 2006). De p\u00e5pegede, at kontekstafh\u00e6ngig karrierer\u00e5dgivning kr\u00e6ver konstant opm\u00e6rksomhed, ikke kun med hensyn til klientens kulturelle kontekst, men ogs\u00e5 med hensyn til r\u00e5dgiverne (ibid.). De foreslog at udvide modellen til at omfatte metakognitive processer for at hj\u00e6lpe vejledere, n\u00e5r de arbejder med kunder fra forskellige baggrunde. <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Forskningsm\u00e5lene var at unders\u00f8ge det arbejde, der udf\u00f8res af erhvervsvejledere, der arbejder i Finland og Irland, navnlig dem, der arbejder med klienter med indvandrerbaggrund. Over 90% af de studerende, opn\u00e5et en vedvarende destination og udtrykte tilfredshed med deres post-16 valg. Dette arbejde best\u00e5r af tre studier, der hver is\u00e6r bidrager til forst\u00e5elsen af den karriererelaterede usikkerhed blandt universitetsstuderende og tilbyder indsigt, der ogs\u00e5 kan v\u00e6re medvirkende til karrierer\u00e5dgivere.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Den f\u00f8rste unders\u00f8gelse unders\u00f8ger sociale repr\u00e6sentationer af karriereplanl\u00e6gning og identificerer seks forskellige rammer, hvor den ene fokuserede specifikt p\u00e5 usikkerhed (Itkonen &amp; Kosonen, 2024). Disse forskellige repr\u00e6sentationer former elevernes tanker, adf\u00e6rd og handlinger inden for karriereplanl\u00e6gning og kan v\u00e6re afg\u00f8rende for karrierevejledere.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I den anden unders\u00f8gelse unders\u00f8ges samspillet mellem de studerendes baggrundsfaktorer, fremtidsplanernes klarhed og karrieretilpasningsevnen med hensyn til at forbedre kandidaternes besk\u00e6ftigelsesegnethed. Vi indrammede vores forskning med den forst\u00e5else, at karrieretilpasningsevne afspejler varierende niveauer af usikkerhed, hvor lavere niveauer indikerer reduceret fremtidig orientering, planl\u00e6gning, risikotagning, probleml\u00f8sning og proaktivitet sammen med \u00f8get ubeslutsomhed. Hierarkisk regressionsanalyse afsl\u00f8rede alder og indskrivning i professionelle programmer som v\u00e6sentlige positive faktorer, der p\u00e5virker besk\u00e6ftigelsesegnethedshovedst\u00e6der.
